Since returning to the United Arab Emirates in 2023, Bashar Haroun has been steadily rebuilding his professional and artistic presence within the country’s music community.
Having spent part of his childhood in the UAE, his return represents both a professional continuation and a personal reconnection. His work today focuses on practical contribution — through education, live performance, composition, and industry involvement — reflecting the same ecosystem-building approach that has defined his career.

Bashar worked as a music teacher with Jazz Rockers, contributing to structured music education and student development within the UAE.
During his time there, he received an Award of Excellence in Teaching, recognizing his commitment to mentorship and educational impact.

Bashar currently works in Sales Management at Melody House, one of the UAE’s leading suppliers of musical instruments and professional audio equipment.
Through this role, he supports schools, studios, venues, and musicians by facilitating access to professional musical instruments, tools, and audio systems. This position places him within the operational infrastructure of the UAE music industry, contributing to its sustainability and growth.

Bashar is a member of the Emirati Musicians' Association, reflecting his formal engagement within the national cultural framework.
He received a Letter of Appreciation from Herbie Hancock, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, for his efforts and participation in organizing International Jazz Day (Abu Dhabi edition).
At Spacetoon (A well known in the Arab world cartoon channel), Bashar composed and produced the screen music for the film Penguin Highway (Arabic broadcast version).
This project reflects his continued involvement in media composition and production within the UAE.
He joined Falling Leaves, contributing as a member to the internationally released album The Silence That Binds Us.
The album features the participation of international guest musicians and has been distributed globally across major streaming platforms. It was accompanied by an official music video release and received coverage through articles, interviews, and online music publications internationally.
The Silence That Binds Us has been nominated for Metal Storm's international award and is currently ranked within the Top 10 releases of its genre for the year.
Since returning to the UAE, Bashar has participated in numerous live events and stages across different cultural settings, maintaining active engagement with the local music community.
In addition to live performance, he collaborated with MNK Studios in recordings and productions for prominent Arabic artists in the Middle East, contributing to studio-based creative projects within the regional music industry.
He also participated in organizing The Vinyl Souq event 2025 (Abu Dhabi edition), supporting the local underground and independent music scene through community-driven cultural initiatives.
Performance and collaboration remain essential components of his artistic presence in the UAE, reflecting both creative contribution and ecosystem involvement.
Dubai Music For All is a cultural initiative currently in development, designed to expand access to music education and create structured opportunities for emerging musicians in the UAE.
The initiative builds on Bashar’s previous experience establishing music centers and organizing large-scale concert platforms, adapted to the UAE’s cultural environment. Its long-term objective is to contribute to a sustainable and inclusive music ecosystem within the country.
